ELO Australia and Ricoh Australia sign Master Alliance Agreement

Sydney - May 2010 After months of negotiations ELO Australia and Ricoh Australia have signed a Master Alliance Agreement that covers joint activities in marketing and selling of Ricoh's and ELO's products, technology transfer, cooperative development of products and solutions and training and Ricoh's incorporation of ELO's products in various office automation processes and initiatives. As a result of this alliance, Ricoh "believes that Ricoh's customers would benefit from having products and/or services supplied by ELO". Ricoh may therefore introduce ELO to its clients while ELO remains free to negotiate after the initial contact is made. Ricoh sees ELO as an extension and improvement to its current sales of LaserFiche and/or Teleform.

The ELO functionality and future development plans presented by Karl Heinz Mosbach, managing director of ELO, during his recent visit to Australia convinced Ricoh that ELO is the right product for a wide range of existing clients. Ricoh acknowledged that ELO's DocXtractor is a leading tool for business process automation and the first joined bids have been created already. Ricoh's business development managers have embraced ELO's solution and are excited about the future collaboration. Karl Heinz Mosbach summarised the collaboration as a good tool for Ricoh to gain a wider market presence and allows ELO Australia to bid for larger clients in the future.
