ELO Digital Office GmbH develops and sells high-performance products and solutions in the areas of electronic document management, digital archiving, workflow and web content management. The company operates internationally and - in addition to its headquarters in Stuttgart - has branches in Europe, Asia, South America and Africa.

Founded

In April 2000: Changed its name from Louis Leitz Digital Office GmbH, a subsidiary of the Louis Leitz group founded in March 1998 and demerged to form an independent company. The Louis Leitz group was taken over by the Swedish Esselte AB in August 1998. Click for history.

Sales and partnerships

All ELO products are sold through distributors, specialist PC retailers, VARs and trained and certified ELO business partners. The dense network of ELO partners supports more than 450,000 workstations worldwide. The company also maintains numerous strategic partnerships with software and hardware manufacturers such as Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Fujitsu, Sun Microsystems and many more. The foreign markets are handled via agencies, subsidiaries and sales offices.
